    was my absolute favourite for 20+ yrs, got compliments all the time. last purchase was definitely different scent not the same, asked mfg if changed they said no , but they absolutely did! no compliments since new bottle. change it back to the way it was!!

    Used to be my favorite

    CAE was my all-time favorite perfume until they changed the formula. The original had a delicate oakmoss/patchouli scent that I loved and people would ask me what I was wearing. The new formula smells like old lady perfume (no offense to old ladies -- I'm one, too). I think they reduced the oakmoss and replaced it with either a synthetic derivative or just something else. Anyway...yuck!
