Amouage Overture Man EDP Spray (M)

For me, it’s one of the best Amouage, i’ve get a couples in this brand but Overture for me is masterpiece.

Thank you FragranceCanada for offering Overture testers at $169. This is a back up bottle for my favorite Amouage frag. If you've never tried Overture, it is NOT a blind buy, and probably not for someone who prefers fresh / green / blue scents. It is pure Amouage and, IMHO, the masterpiece of Karine Spehner (perfumer) and Christopher Chong (last frag of his as creative director for Amouage). Overture is a complex journey from opening to dry down, and it is amazing to see how the booze, cardamom, the resins, incense, smoke, animalic, cumin and other spices, a bit of citrus and florals, and the wood and leather player together. Twenty notes in harmony. Beast mode performance. I love the opening as much as the dry down. That being said it's not for everyone, it's a strong fragrance. Smells expensive and reeks of class and elegance, and was inspired by the thought of a well dressed man attending an opera and then leaving unexpectedly, but leaving his scent behind. My favorite from Amouage and my signature scent for cool weather, and I don't mind wearing even if I'm in jeans and t-shirt instead of a tux.
